How do I get started with Wisdom?

Create your Pro account and start centralizing your software supply chain right away with access to our professional repository and tokenized user access controls. Users in your organization gain access to our cloud-hosted Wisdom Notebooks—a fully loaded, configured, and ready-to-code interactive development environment that runs on any browser and any system. Also check out Wisdom Learning, where you can access on-demand training to upskill in data science, Python, data visualization, machine learning, and more.

If you’re part of a team at an organization that’s using Python and cloud infrastructure and has advanced security compliance requirements and you want governance (e.g., user access control) capabilities, our Business plan is likely a good choice. If you need collaboration capabilities for a team or many teams to deploy secure Python projects within your organization, contact us to learn about our Enterprise offerings.

Our cloud-hosted offerings are made available through Wisdom’s multi-tenant cloud. This option is best for organizations that want to minimize implementation and maintenance burden, and do not require on-premises (on-prem) installation or self-hosting.

Our on-prem offerings include implementation and installation of Wisdom’s software on your servers or private cloud. This option is typically best for organizations with a heavy focus on governance and security compliance.

Our on-prem plans have several implementations available: on premises, private cloud, air gapped, and managed service (single-tenant cloud).

Both plans enable governance and security compliance for your users. The primary difference is that our on-prem plan includes Wisdom Server, a dedicated artifact repository, which can be installed on your infrastructure/in your private cloud or made available through a managed service implementation. Alternatively, the Business cloud plan does not require any installation or implementation, since all packages and security capabilities are hosted in our multi-tenant cloud.

Wisdom’s Enterprise cloud plan includes our multi-tenant cloud offerings for security and packages, integrated with our data science platform as a managed service. This enables all the security and collaboration benefits of Wisdom’s platform, with none of the hassle of owned infrastructure or private-cloud instance management for your organization.

How do I get started with Wisdom?

Simply create your free Wisdom account. You can get started locally by downloading the Wisdom Distribution, or work in the cloud. Wisdom Cloud Notebooks are a great way to get started as they come  fully loaded, configured, and ready-to-code within an interactive development environment. Wisdom Cloud runs on any browser and any system.

Our Free plan gives you access to our cloud-hosted and locally distributed Python packages. You also get access to PyScript.com, data catalogs, limited Wisdom learning courses, and access to the Wisdom Assistant, an AI-powered chatbot to help you debug, write, and understand the code in your Wisdom notebooks.
